Music notes: Gunna, Frank Ocean, Lil Durk and more


Gunna‘s been dealing with critics who call him a snitch since footage released of him answering questions in court. In a snippet of an unreleased song, he seemingly addresses the detractors, rapping, “He forgave me for my sins now they mad I got out.” Boosie hopes Gunna “never sells another record again.”

“California Love” may very well be the theme of YG‘s relationship with Saweetie. The two were spotted spending quality time in a pool during their trip to Cabo San Lucas.

Frank Ocean is the latest star to attend one of the shows on the European leg of Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour. Megan Thee Stallion and Future have also supported the star abroad.

Lil Durk released a music video loosely based on his life. In the clip for “Sad Songs,” a man begs girlfriend India Royale to take Durk back. The track appears on Durkio’s latest album, Almost Healed.

With days to go before Rick Ross‘ second annual car show, Diddy announced he’ll be making an appearance. In true Diddy style, he’s considering arriving to the event in a private jet

Adidas has released the first batch of its remaining Yeezy stock, its first drop since ending their relationship with Ye. A portion of the funds will benefit the Anti-Defamation League and other organizations that are working to fight against racism and antisemitism.
